Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I purchased the Pixie 4 in dk. brown/lime and upon trying them on for the first time, was surprised to find that I could feel my toes touching the tip of the shoe.I have 2 pairs of the DC Court Graffik SE in which I've never noticed my toes pressing against the tip but, at the same time, they don't feel too big.I put the bottom of a Pixie to the bottom of a CG and the Pixie is, in fact, noticeably smaller. The Pixies aren't so much smaller that I need to get the next size up, but if you're already squeezing into a smaller size or they're out of your size but you decide to get a half size smaller because the DCs are generally pretty roomy, keep in mind that the Pixie 4 model runs small.
I was hoping that the dr. brown would be be so dark as to appear almost black (as the dk. brown/ocean appears in the picture, or could that just be my computer?) but it's definitely brown.
In conclusion:
If your shoes are typically a little tight, go with a half size larger if you purchase the Pixie 4 model. If you like the accent color that only appears on a brown one, but figure you'll get it anyway and hope it turns out to be closer to black, it's not. Edit: After wearing my second pair of Pixies (black with blue detailing), it seems that my first pair being too small wasn't just a fluke (as I was hoping it was).My second pair are small as well.Other than that, I like the shoes, but they'd be better if they were true to size.

Product Description:
Pretty, swirly graphics in contrasting colors give the Pixie skate shoe from DC a feminine look. But, just because it's pretty doesn't mean it can't help you perform. The thoroughly padded interior and grippy rubber outsole take care of your feet so you can do just that.
