my left shoe's bottom has a gaping hole("huge")only after a couple of months(round 2 or 3 )of heavy skating.
The right shoe's bottom is almost at that same state except no gaping hole, but that's only due to my skateboarding preferences.
The main thing here to note is the contrast in great top design (nowhere near heel-flip holes, and/or tre flip holes) and bad bottom design (after the first layer ,all other layers of fabric fall 'instantly' ,exposed socks effect ).

as far as the state of the delivery of the shoe , amazon followed up great , no complaints there , no pre-skate scuffles.But as far as overall shoe longevity goes , kind of skippable considering it's originally 60-something , where as i bought for 28-something.
