(More customer reviews)These shoes are ready to lace up and skate right out the box, no break in time needed thanks to the suede material. You can feel your board really well with the thin vulcanized insole and they are very thin, comfortable and light. The mid top design really does its job and preserves your ankles from bad landings. They skate great, but are not durable at all. After three days of hard skating my toe cap is beginning to rip open and the grip is already gone on the toe areas on the bottom of the soles. I could skate these shoes up in a week if I continued, but i'll chill out on them and not skate them because these shoes are too comfortable and unique to wreck. These are very good shoes to skate, but they are not durable at all.

P.S: Vox has been known to have their shoes fit about a half size larger than the regular fit. The Ricky Oyola pro models are true to fit, so you dot not need to order these a half size smaller.
