(More customer reviews)The Keen Erin Mary Jane is my 4th pair of Keen Mary Jane style shoes, the first being the Seattle, next the Chelsea, and then the Sienna. All of them have been extremely comfortable, and easy to put on and take off. Perhaps the Seattle was a bit chafing on the instep, but this shoe is nothing like that, especially since the Erin comes up to size 12.

Essentially it runs true to Keen sizes (I.E. right length slightly wider toe box, etc), but my only concern with the shoe is this :

People have complained about the strap on the Seattle being too loose and coming undone. I never experienced that with the Seattle. I have with the Erin. I don't have a good reason why but I can at least tell you that I know what people talk about and there is that possibility for any other customers.

My only solution is to turn the little straps upside down and sort of wedge them into the plastic buckle, that seems to work. Still, a slight annoyance that drives down my rating of the shoe from a 5 like a usual Keen to 4 stars.
