Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I have recurring plantar fasciitus (heel pain) and back pain when I don't have good arch support in my shoes. The only two shoe brands I found I can wear withOUT my orthodic inserts are Birkenstock and Keen.I have about 7 pairs of Keens now, from sneaker-style to slip-on sandals. The styles where the footbed is NOT removeable have better arch support. The styles with removeable footbeds don't have the same arch support, but the ability to remove the footbed allows for orthodic inserts. Keen's are so perfect for my Northwest home because they are hardy, solid, and well made. They are comfortable for hiking, walking, and everyday indoor/outdoor use. The extra toe coverage keeps your feet dry in the rain and minimizes wear and scuffing. The Briggs style is one of my favorite as far as comfort and look (they make my 9.5 size look smaller!). I highly recommend Keens in general. They are worth the investment and last a long time. Important Note: every style I have has run SMALL.I normally wear a woman's 8.5 or 9 max, and my size in Keens is consistently 9.5.
